How To Start Your YouTube Channel

How To Start Your YouTube Channel

Have you been thinking to start your Youtube Channel?
Recently I took the plunge and started an all-new YouTube Channel! I can’t lie, this is truly exciting as I have been thinking about doing this for almost a year now! I have so many amazing things to share aside from my personal life and such, so I decided to make myself my own experiment! Why not!

I’ve laid so much foundation for my business, that I’m more excited than ever to share this new journey with you!

So what will my new channel consist of you ask? I shared a bit in the video above, so be sure to check that out. With the rollout of this new channel, I’m also able to show you guys how I create to grow! So if you’re thinking of creating a channel I want you to keep reading, so that you don’t go wrong!

This is where most people completely drop the ball. They don’t think about the strategy behind what they’re doing! They just decide they want to create a channel without a plan and then they start thinking about buying a fancy camera and then they get completely stuck! And their execution goes up into flames!

So there are a few things that you must think about when you’re launching a new channel.

1. Who are you?

Your story connects the people that are interested in you, to your topic of choice to your channel even more! Sit down and write a bit about yourself and your journey as it’s going to help you to understand how you are able to help others. Remember, helpful and useful information trumps everything else!

2. What’s your angle? What’s the special sauce?

This is connected to your story as well! There’s going to be something that your tribe is going to connect to you more for! Example, there are others that teach what I teach online (There’s always going to be other people that teach what you teach online). But my journey is different, my life is different, my experiences are different, my talents, skills, goals, views are all different and will attract people just like me to my channel!

3. What are you going to talk about?

You need to create a few main topics that you’re able to create subtopics under. This way, you’re able to create endless topics to talk about. After a while, you start attracting the right people and they will start asking questions, that you’re able to create even more connected content through.

Exercise: Create at least 4 topics that you’re going to cover on your channel and think about 4 more topics that you can create under each topic.

I explain this full process in my Free Video Strategy Workbook! (I’ll link access to it below! It’s free!)
